Question: What does Castells mean when he suggests that the "Network is the Message" in the prologue of his text?

Castell was making two points, 1). Networks have extraordinary advantages as organizing tools because of their inherent flexibility and adaptability, critical features in order to survive and prosper in a fast-changing enviroment. In today's enviroment it would be virtually impossible for organizations and companies and individuals to conduct business effectively without networks. 2). The medium is the message which means the conduit is as important as the message.
